The new Oktoberfest Souvenirs
All news about the Oktoberfest 2011 and the presentation of the official Souvenirs at the first Oktoberfest press conference in this year:

Weishäupl, head of the Munich Tourist Office and organiser of the Oktoberfest
of long standing was a bit nostalgic when she spoke at the press conference on
21st July 2011: This year will be the last Oktoberfest of the 64 year old Munich
Original. All the more reason to get enthusiastic about the Oktoberfest
2011:
There are new
rides, better security measures, new areas for smokers and the nostalgic 'Oide
Wiesn' - the 'Old Oktoberfest' goes on this year. Bigger, Higher and Safer are
the keywords for the Oktoberfest 2011.
Weishäupl also
presented the new official souvenirs: Beer Mugs, wheat beer glasses, bags,
t-shirts and cups - all adorned with the official 2011 poster motif. The motif
shows a happy Oktoberfest couple and is styled like a traditional cross-stitched
embroidery.

The only thing still missing in the wide variety of souvenirs is the official 1 litre collector's stone-mug, which may not be sold before the 24th of August. You will then, of course, find it in our shop, too.
