Oktoberfest premiere for FC Bayern superstar Philippe Coutinho

FC Bayern Munich's official visit to the Oktoberfest is yet to come - but that doesn't prevent the soccer stars from visiting the festival on their own. New arrival Philippe Coutinho had his Wiesn-experienced teammates introduce him to Munich customs in the Käfer tent.

Half of the team gathers at Käfer tent

On the first day of Oktoberfest, FC Bayern Munich humiliated opponents Cologne with a clear 4:0 win at Allianz Arena. After such a success, the club bosses certainly had nothing against their stars visiting the Oktoberfest. And so a whole squad of Bayern players were spotted in the Käfer beer tent: Philippe Coutinho, Thiago Alcantara, David Alaba, Serge Gnabry, Niklas Süle, Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez and Leon Goretzka all got a taste of real Oktoberfest atmosphere - in the case of the freshly arrived Hernandez and Coutinho probably for the very first time. The Brazilian superstar was transferred from FC Barcelona at the beginning of the season, where it is certainly nice, but there is no such thing as the Oktoberfest in Catalonia.

The official Wiesn visit of FC Bayern is still to come

The FC Bayern stars had a relaxed stroll through the celebrity box in the Käfer tent in stylish traditional costumes and made themselves comfortable at the tables. It is not known how long they sat together there. But it won't have been all too long - on Saturday the away match in Paderborn is scheduled. And there will also be a "real" Oktoberfest visit with the whole staff of FC Bayern - probably on the last Wiesn weekend and of course again in the Käfer tent.
