This is how the limited 2019 collector's mug looks like
Cheers! Official Oktoberfest mug 2019 presented
If you buy this year's Oktoberfest mug, you get two things at once: a drinking vessel and a hidden object game at the same time. The official Oktoberfest mug for 2019 was presented in the Armbrustschützen tent. Find out who is behind the design and where you can buy the limited edition mug.

The Oktoberfest in all its facets
Tradition, culture and culinary delights: there are many things that are typical for the Bavarian way of life. The Munich graphic designer Mirjam Mößmer has put together a potpourri of them in her design. The result is a colourful arrangement of Oktoberfest objects, where you can not only discover pretzels and white sausages, but also the Bavaria Statue, the Ferris wheel and a dachshund. The picture adorns both the Oktoberfest mug 2019 and the official poster.

Head of Oktoberfest and tent owners' speaker are impressed
Enthusiastic faces were to be seen at the presentation of the mug in the Armbrustschützen tent. Clemens Baumgärtner, Head of the Oktoberfest, enthuses: "I think it's an incredibly beautiful motif and I think it has everything you'd expect from the Oktoberfest." Peter Inselkammer, spokesman for the tent owners, is even somewhat amused by the new mug: "I have already noticed that there are also many animals on it. Some of them can be found on the menus in our tents - I can't quite assign the dachshund to them yet," he jokes.
