Exactly 84 days before it's "O'zapft is" again, the gastronomic companies have announced the beverage prices for the Oktoberfest 2019: The „mass“ (one liter) beer will cost between 10.80 Euro and 11.80 Euro. This year‘s prices for non-alcoholic drinks have also been revealed.

How much does beer cost at the Oktoberfest 2019?

The beer price is eagerly awaited every year - now it's out: The gastronomic companies have informed the Department of Labor and Economy about the beverage prices they are planning for Wiesn 2019. According to this, a mass of festival beer costs between 10.80 Euro and 11.80 Euro. This is on average 3.11 percent more than in the previous year. In 2018, prices ranged from 10.70 Euro to 11.50 Euro. And what about soft drinks? You pay the following prices per litre: Table water 8.87 Euro (previous year 8.72 Euro), Spezi 10.01 Euro (previous year 9.80 Euro) and lemonade 9.56 Euro (previous year 9.27 Euro).

The beverage prices are not fixed by the City of Munich. As the organiser of the Oktoberfest, however, the city checks the prices of the restaurateurs for appropriateness. In return, it compares the prices with those of the large gastronomic companies in the city of Munich. For beer, these prices are currently between 5.60 euros and 10.40 euros per measure.
