The small Oktoberfest tents and their highlights

Sustainable, cosy, bookable online: the small tents

Beside the big festival tents there are 21 so-called "Kleine Wiesnzelte“ (small tents) at the Oktoberfest. Not only is it relatively easy to get a place here, the hosts also take care of sustainability and older fellow citizens - and of course in the evenings there is a lively party!

From breakfast to party

Do you want to try something different in addition to the classic Oktoberfest visit of the large festival tents? You can choose between 21 small and medium-sized tents. A Wiesn breakfast in Bodo's Cafézelt, Café Kaiserschmarrn or Goldener Hahn, healthy with Birchermüsli or hearty with „Weißwürste“ for 99 cents is the ideal basis for a long day on the Oktoberfest. Perfect also for families who like it a little quieter. And in the evenings? A total of 45 bands are playing and the atmosphere is just as tingling as Prosecco or Hugo, which is available as an alternative to Wiesnbier.

These are the highlights of the small tents

  • Practical: The online reservation. Just like in a normal restaurant, you can order your table with a few clicks and receive a reservation number immediately. Especially during the day, there are also short-term capacities.
  • Sustainable: the small tents are calling it the "Öktoberfest". This means: no more plastic crockery, straws made of sugar cane and the first climate-neutral tents.
  • Social: There's a Wiesn regular's table for older citizens: 11 participating tents set up VIP areas for senior citizens between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday (except on 3 October) for everyone over 60. Here you will find dishes at reasonable prices, helpful services and the following applies: no compulsory consumption, no reservation.
