The WiesnGentleman 2019

Peter B. took care of a helpless Oktoberfest visitor

From a helpful Wiesn visitor to an ambassador for help and peaceful celebrations at the Oktoberfest: Lord Mayor Reiter names Peter B. the official "WiesnGentleman 2019" on the balcony of the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke. The prominent jury included actors Stefan Murr and Max von Thun, Johanna Bittenbinder and Hannes Ringlstetter.

Caring instead of looking away: A real WiesnGentleman

For the third time Condrobs searched and found the "WiesnGentleman". Patron is Munich's Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter, who today named Peter B. the official WiesnGentleman 2019 at the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke.

Peter B. had advertised himself with his personal Oktoberfest story: In the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Wiesn, he noticed an elderly lady who seemed to have lost her bearings. She was surrounded by many people who were curiously looking at her - but nobody did anything. Not so Peter B.: The 32-year-old spoke to the old lady, who, however, said nothing, but was only delighted with his knitted suspenders. She no longer knew who she was looking for. Peter B. did not simply move on, but sat down with the lady in a tent. Finally he found a piece of paper with her saying: "I am Margarethe and I am demented". Plus: Her son's phone number and the request to contact him if you find his mother. Peter B. called his son, who, moved, picked up his mother a short time later at her gentleman's side in the tent.
