New logo, new design, new stand

In 2022, Munich Tourist Info will also be available directly at the Wiesn for the first time. It is easy to find: the large information stand is located directly at the main entrance, designed in the new Oktoberfest look.

„With over one million guests from abroad, there's a lot to do! But many visitors from Germany are also at the Wiesn for the first time and have questions, need information: Where is the Vogel-Jakob? How do I get to the Bavaria? How long does the Ferris wheel run and where can I find an ATM?“, explains Oktoberfest boss Clemens Baumgärtner.

Information, a warm welcome and helping is one thing, but the Official Oktoberfest Info has even more to offer: Souvenirs and useful items with the new Oktoberfest logo can be purchased here, whether as souvenirs for yourself or as souvenirs for family and friends.

The Oktoberfest brand - known worldwide, with a new look

Benedikt Brandmeier, Head of Tourism, Events and Hospitality, about the Oktoberfest brand and the new design: "The Oktoberfest is an extremely well-known brand and plays in the league of major brands worldwide. Therefore, it needs a strong, versatile branding in which everyone can find themselves." The design with the "O" as the central element was developed for a high recognition value: "Everyone must be able to see immediately whether a product is something that really comes from the Oktoberfest or has a cooperation with us - or not," explains Brandmeier.

The official Wiesnkrug and more: The souvenirs

The service at the official info stand at the Wiesn is possible because of the cooperation with excellent city guides who take care of guests from Germany and abroad. This is financed by the sale of souvenirs of the new brand: at the Official Oktoberfest Info you can buy the Wiesnkrug 2022, whether with the new Oktoberfest logo or the Wiesn poster, there are also T-shirts and hoodies with the new logo, "Bierfilzl", pins, lighters, notebooks and even a fan scarf of FC Bayern.

"We want to get our new design out to the whole world," Benedikt Brandmeier says of the souvenirs, "so of course it's only on high-quality products that you can buy here."
