Experts have tested pork sausages from nine manufacturers
On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the commission headed by Sebastian Groth, deputy to the district administrative officer, examined pork sausages ("Schweinswürstl") from nine manufacturers that had been taken as samples in sausage fryers and festival tents at the Oktoberfest.
The panel was made up of representatives of consumer associations, manufacturers and experts. The evaluation scale ranged from insufficient to very good, with the respective sausage type being evaluated according to smell, taste, appearance and consistency.
