The last Sunday at the Oktoberfest

The last Wiesn evening is a big, emotional finale in the tents. Above all the people of Munich love their melancholic and solemn "Kehraus": with thousands of sparklers in the hacker, a last "Angels" in the Hofbräu, a singing landlord - and in the Bräurosl the mayor himself turns off the light. Prostspenden in favour of the Münchner Tafel

The "WiesnGentleman" 2019

From a helpful Wiesn visitor to an ambassador for help and peaceful celebrations at the Oktoberfest: Lord Mayor Reiter names Peter B. the official "WiesnGentleman 2019" on the balcony of the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke. The prominent jury included actors Stefan Murr and Max von Thun, Johanna Bittenbinder and Hannes Ringlstetter.

A decorative cow is stolen in the Käfer tent in 2018 - that alone is unusual. The fact that the cow will be returned one year later by the artist community "Robot Heart" and has completed a spectacular world trip is one of the most curious stories of the Oktoberfest 2019.
