One of Munich's own legends is the story of Alois Hingerl, as told by famous Bavarian writer Ludwig Thoma. After his death, trainstation serviceman Alois goes to heaven, but doesn't like it one bit, because there's no beer and no snuff. So, instead of praising the Lord, he just swears all day long. However, God finds just the right job for Alois: He makes him a messenger to bring the Bavarian Government some good advice from God himself. But, arriving in Munich, Alois goes straight to the Hofbrauhaus and keeps on drinking beer untill today... Our about 1.8 Inches tall key fobs show Alois at several parts of the story.
