Beverage prices are not set by the City of Munich. However, as the event organizer, the city reviews the prices quoted by restaurant and bar owners to ensure they are reasonable. To this end, a comparison is made with the prices charged by large-scale food and beverage establishments within the Munich city limits. These prices for beer currently range from 7.70 euros to 13.40 euros per liter of export beer.
