The Musikexpress

Enthusiasm across generations

A train with 20 carriages and four engines runs in circles, climbs hills at breakneck speed and then rolls rapidly back down to the valley - this roller coaster is Zehle's Musikexpress.

A reminiscence of the disco era of the 70s and 80s

The Musikexpress was built almost 50 years ago and has been continuously improved ever since. These optimizations affect both the design and the electrics. These include modern, energy-saving lighting systems, electric motors with an efficient power balance and electronic safety components. The company's long-standing tradition, which has existed for over half a century, is also being continued. In 2023, the Musikexpress was upgraded to the latest Euro standard, making it future-proof: this includes new chaises, new booms and a new electrical system.

Safety first and foremost

The Musikexpress is equipped with all the necessary safety equipment required by the DIN EN 13814 standard. Nevertheless, it is important for a family carousel to cater to the individual needs of the passengers. Families with small children generally ride at a lower speed than teenagers looking for an adrenaline rush. If it becomes apparent during the ride that someone in the chaises is overwhelmed, the manual controls are used to react immediately and defuse the situation.
