By E-Scooter to the Oktoberfest

No-riding and no-parking zones will be established. These zones will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day in the expanded area surrounding the Äußerer Sperrring (Hackerbrücke, Hauptbahnhof, Karlsplatz/Stachus, Sendlinger Tor, Kapuzinerplatz, Tumblingerstraße, Alramstraße, Lindwurmstraße, Pfeuferstraße, and Ganghoferstraße).
The Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (Munich Transport Authority) also prohibits the use of electric scooters - often referred to as e-scooters - on underground trains, trams and buses as well as in underground stations.
