Whether it's a ride on the Ferris wheel, a round at the shooting range or a bag of roasted almonds: On the two Tuesdays, the youngest guests at the Wiesn will have their wishes fulfilled. Twice every Oktoberfest, the Family Day takes place until 7 pm with discounts for children and families.
Discounts for children at Oktoberfest on Family Day
On Tuesdays until 7 p.m., numerous rides, showmen, and snack bars offer special prices for children and families. The large festival tents also offer children's dishes and children's menus at special prices.
Every day is family day at Familienplatzl
The Familienplatzl at Wiesn-Straße 3 is open every day, not just on Tuesdays. Here, parents will find everything they need to make their Oktoberfest visit with their little ones more relaxed. Snacks and light meals are served in child-friendly portions and at family-friendly prices — including a Kinder Surprise. You can also bring your own food to the beer garden and heat it up in the microwave on site. For the very little ones who are still too young for the big rides, the Familienplatzl offers a baby flight and tin can throwing with great prizes. As an extra service for families, there is a stroller parking area and a baby changing room with a changing table. Incidentally, the entire Familienplatzl is step-free with wooden flooring.
