Motif competition 2026
The City of Munich is looking for the best, most creative and effective motif for the Oktoberfest 2026.
Here we go! The Oktoberfest motif competition 2026 is now open
Professional graphic artists, graphic designers, artists, Art Academy and Visual Communications Applied Science University students, and anyone who can create a motif design in line with the technical and content requirements, are invited to take part. You can upload your designs here until midnight tonight, December 18.
All submissions that meet the Eligibility Requirements will take part in a public vote in January 2026 on muenchen.de - the best 30 will make it to selection by an expert jury.
The jury will select a design to be the official Oktoberfest 2026 motif. It draws global attention to the traditional festival on the internet, on licenced items and on 10,000 posters.
