For Oktoberfest 2025, numerous businesses are certified in accordance with EU Organic Regulation No. 834/2007 and offer a wide range of folk festival specialties in organic quality. Many products bear the label "Geprüfte Qualität Bayern" or the "Bayerische Bio-Siegel".

Organic delicacy tour: Festhalle Schottenhamel

The Festhalle Schottenhamel is the oldest and largest Festhalle (marquee) at the Oktoberfest. Here, great importance is attached to regional, sustainable and high-quality food and products. Most of the ingredients come from "Geprüfter Qualität Bayern", are certified organic or even bear the "Bio-Bayern" seal. The proportion of organic food on the menu at this restaurant is growing every year. Wiesnwirt Christian Schottenhamel is in direct contact with the organic farms, with whom he prefers to work on a long-term basis. His wish for the Wiesn of the future? Even more organic food from Bavaria. One example of this is the flour for Kasspatzn and Kaiserschmarrn: it comes from Wolfmühle in Forstinning. The family business processes grain from organic farmers from the districts of Ebersberg, Erding, Landshut and Rosenheim in its milling plant.
Organic delicacy tour: Hühner- und Entenbraterei Ammer

This year, Hühner- und Entenbraterei Ammer is celebrating its 140th Oktoberfest - as the second oldest festival tent and also the oldest chicken roasting house in the world. The Munich-based family business was the first tent ever to switch to organic food at the Oktoberfest back in 2000. Switching to organic is the life choice of Ammer-Wirt Josef Schmidbauer. The menu includes exclusively organic chicken and duck as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes of certified organic quality. The organic chicken comes from the Biogeflügelhof Graf, Bayern (Steinkirchen). The farm is run as a family business and is certified organic by Bavaria - with species-appropriate husbandry, access to the outdoors and organic feed.
Organic delicacy tour: Ochsenbraterei

The Ochsenbraterei is a partially certified organic business according to DE-ÖKO-006 and pays attention to sustainability for the environment and society in all areas, including a long-standing cooperation with Regenbogen Arbeit gGmbH as a supplier of vegetables. The proportion of organic and regional dishes at the Ochsenbraterei is growing steadily. The ingredients are all sourced from the region and are organic wherever possible. The Haberl family has been running the Ochsenbraterei since 1980. Today, Antje Haberl and her sons Luis and Quirin are the second and third generations to run the business. With their commitment to culinary quality and variety, the Ochsenbraterei has also made a name for itself internationally - and is still considered one of the flagships of the world's largest folk festival.
Organic delicacy tour: Berti’s Schokoladenfabrik

Since 2015, organic chocolate and organic fruit in accordance with EG-Öko-Verordnung. Now in its third generation, the family is active in the Schaustellerhandwerk (showman's trade), especially in the production and sale of confectionery. Operator Norbert Lange attaches great importance to offering his customers a wide variety of products.
