The official Oktoberfest 2025 collector's mug is here!
28.08.2025 - 4 pm The Rottaler Gstanzlsängerin Renate Maier presented the official collector's mug of the City of Munich for Oktoberfest 2025 together with the speaker for work and economy, Wiesn boss Dr. Christian Scharpf. The mug shows the lively winning motif of Amiera Harithas and Dinah-Charles Francis.

A Gstanzl for the Oktoberfest

Peter Inselkammer, Wiesn host of the Armbrustschützenzelt and spokesman for the large Wiesn hosts, opened the stein presentation with a brief welcome. Wiesn boss, Dr. Christian Scharpf added: "Today the Wiesn family is still meeting in relative peace before the big festival hustle and bustle. Let's enjoy this and take a look at our new collector's mug at the same time."
Renate Maier presented the official collector's mug in a short speech in which she humorously alluded to politics, the city and co. She then sang a Gstanzl, which delighted the audience with her inimitable witty and charming style. She was accompanied musically by the band “Zam g'strickt” under the direction of Andreas Königsberger.
Born in Niederbayern, she began her career as a wedding singer (Hochzeitsladerin) before devoting herself to singing Gstanzl. She found her talent and passion in this art form, which she expresses in numerous performances. Renate Maier has already won several “Gstanzl Battles”, where she has impressed with her humor, authenticity, flair and temperament. Her performances are characterized by a special connection to the audience, which she captivates with her lively manner and sharp wit.
Amiera Harithas and Dinah-Charles Francis - the designers of the Collector's Jug 2025

A radiant waitress in a dirndl adorns this year's 2025 poster motif. In a stylized stamp look, design students Amiera Harithas and Dinah-Charles Francis highlight what makes the Wiesn so special: liveliness, humour and Bavarian hospitality. “For us, Oktoberfest is a meeting place where people from different backgrounds come together, get to know each other and experience a special community,” explain the two designers. The motif is dedicated to all those who make the festival possible in the first place with their hard work: the waiters, the showmen and the many helping hands behind the scenes.
Harithas and Francis are studying at the Munich Design School. They share a deep passion for the Wiesn.

The limited edition festival jug from the city of Munich continues the series of collector's jugs begun in 1978. The clay jugs, also known as Keferloher, are made of gray stoneware and have embodied an urban Bavarian tradition for more than 100 years.
The official festival jug is also available with a hand-crafted pewter lid. Selected Munich personalities are honored on it. This year, the legendary “Steilwand Kitty” is portrayed. The motorcyclist impressed audiences at the Theresienwiese in the 1930s with her daring stunts. Her Indian Scout 101 from 1921 and the legendary show “Under the spell of engines” are still unforgotten today.
The Rastal company in Höhr-Grenzhausen/Westerwald produces the collector's jugs in a strictly limited edition. The standard jug 2025 costs 34.90 euros, with a pewter lid 54.90 euros. Other official license partners of Oktoberfest will also be presenting their new products at the jug launch.
