The Oktoberfest is being dismantled
After 16 days of festivities, Oktoberfest will be dismantled according to a fixed schedule until November 21.
Beer tents must be completely dismantled by November 21.
There are deadlines for the individual sectors by which they must have left the Theresienwiese. The brewery tents and other large catering establishments at the Oktoberfest must vacate the site by November 21. Brewery tents and other large catering establishments at the Oktoberfest located in the Tollwood Winter Festival area must be dismantled by October 31. This also applies to businesses on the Oidn Wiesn.
Coffee tents, chicken roasters, sausage and snack halls, and amusement rides must leave the Wiesn by October 17, while other tenant-owned businesses must leave by October 10. Mast sites must be cleared by October 7. Residential, packing, and machine trailers, as well as other motor vehicles, must also vacate the festival grounds by the dates specified.
Any fixtures installed on the grounds, such as foundations and basins, must be removed, and all excavations and holes must be filled in. Waste disposal during the dismantling of the festival is governed by the commercial and construction waste disposal regulations of the City of Munich.

North-south crossing via Schaustellerstraße
- Open to traffic without restrictions from October 23.
- Depending on the progress of construction, attempts will be made to reopen the north-south crossing via Schaustellerstraße earlier.
