Right by the Goetheplatz U-Bahn station, opposite the famous Toboggan slide, there is the Wildstuben in the style of a Bavarian forester’s lodge. As well as outstanding traditional and unusual dishes made with game and more, the Wildstuben is particularly known for its cozy ambiance, good service and small but high-quality customer base. At later hours, it becomes a hub of music, festivities and dance. From the second floor, guests can enjoy a great view of the Wiesn.

This is where gourmets and connoisseurs of Bavarian game cuisine gather. The rustic seating booths provide plenty of space for privacy; in such a social atmosphere, it’s just a matter of time before you feel ready to venture out for lively conversation and friendly camaraderie with other guests.

The menu: from venison to vegetarian

Lovers of classic Bavarian game cuisine are guaranteed to be spoiled for choice between wild boar, saddle of venison, venison ragout and more. These are served with Augustiner beer, as well as long-standing Bavarian classics, such as ham hock and roast pork, as well as hearty sandwich platters, fresh salads and vegetarian options. The menu is divided into a lunch menu and evening menu. From 11 am on weekdays, various dishes are served for a discounted price during the Wiesn lunch hours.

From the second floor of the Wildstuben, “hunters” can enjoy a clear view of the Wiesn and all its colorful activities. On the first Sunday of the Wiesn, it offers a great view of the costume parade.
